Features

Fast, Quiet Refractor Head: The high precision optical mechanism delivers speedy, smooth and quiet motion, ensuring accurate and comfortable examinations. The compact refractor head has a 40° field of view coverage and built-in IR enables communication with an acuity system. The DR 2200 offers a minimum spherical step-size of 0.12 Diopter.
Simple, Easy Operation: A 10.4 inch full color touchscreen offers a clear overview of examination data, selection of test charts and various test methods. The controller keyboard with jog dial and buttons enables the practitioner to perform a refraction test by simply touching the LCD screen, Jog dial or buttons.
Jog Dial Auto Input Cross Cylinders: The DR 2200 has Jackson Cross Cylinder power of (±0.25D) & (±0.50D) as well as Auto-Cross Cylinder (±0.25D). The Jog dial has a 2-in-1 function that enables the practitioner to toggle the X-CYL function (XC1 or XC2) while the enter key allows the practitioner the choice to select, adjust, or enter function. Cylinder/axis is automatically changed according to the patient’s visual preference. Spherical equivalent is automatically compensated whenever 0.50D cylinder is changed during the JCC test.
Binocular Examinations: A full set of pre-defined tests are available for binocular examinations such as phoria, convergence, accommodation, etc.
Chart Masking and Randomization: The optotype chart can be randomly changed with a simple push of the touch screen. *only available in combination with VA-1 Acuity System.
Versatile Set of Auxiliary Lenses & Filters: Supplementary accessories including polarisation filters, red or green filters, Horizontal and Vertical Maddox filters are included.
Convergence For Near Vision And Adjustable LED: The DR 2200 refractor head will automatically converge to the appropriate near PD angle t for near tests The built-in double LED illumination on the refractor head is dimmable from 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% to suit various refraction room lighting conditions.
Multi-Display Interface Design Allows Simple Comparisons: The multi-display interface design clearly divides the chart information, measurement information, and import/memory areas, making operating the DR 2200 intuitive and reducing exam time. Up to 5 data sets can be stored and compared with each other. Data sets can be loaded at the press of a button to allow fast and easy comparisons.
Convenient tilting display:The touchscreen flexible tilt display (20° ~ 80°) enables the user to operate in either sitting or standing positions.
Connectivity & Workflow Tools: Automatically import data from the S4Optik autorefractor or auto lensmeter. The save function enables the practitioner to test or show patient’s current or new prescription for confirmation.
