Start with an Exceptional Digital Slit Lamp
The Firefly’s Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) camera crisply delineates the structural details of the cornea, lens, iris, and other eye anatomy by using wavelengths similar to natural light.
Optical Resolution up to 200 lp/mm
The optics in the new Firefly leap over previous models and those of our competitors. Coupled with the high-resolution and 5 Mega Pixels video output, you won’t be missing anything.
Efficiency is Automatic
Firefly was designed for the anterior segment with optional dry eye diagnostics, meibomian gland observation, and orthokeratology. This digital slit lamp is also an efficiency specialist with time-saving features, including:
- Automatic exposure
- Auto white balance, with an adjustable depth of field and dynamic range.
- No parameter settings required
The built-in infrared lighting system captures a larger scope in meibomian glands.
The module's adjustable depth-of-field allows you to create vivid images for diagnosis and to share with patients.
With Firefly’s clean LED light, super yellow filter and cobalt blue light, the sodium fluorescein imaging simply pops, allowing for easily viewable tear-film and corneal disease observation.
The Firefly's software, Mediview, does the heavy lifting, so you don't have to. Mediview manages patient images, video, and exam information. And, image sharing is built-in through an HDMI port. Patients and their families, and colleagues.
Choose from six aperture Settings
Select the best possible aperture, from six settings, to enhance depth-of-field and brightness for each exam.
Share with patients and the rest of the world
Firefly facilitates the review of images and patient records on your local LAN server, or anywhere on the planet from a cloud server in telemedicine mode. The admin sets up accounts and manages access to data at the user level.
Manage patient records
Tap our patient management system to build and edit a patient record, record symptoms, and search the database with keywords. DICOM support, you may integrate Firefly images into a hospital's medical system.
Ultra-sensitive camera
1/1.8” Sensor | 2592 x 1944 | 25fps
Coaxial background illuminator
Our new LED illuminator is mounted inline with the slit lamp beam. The adjustable beam of light enhances both video and still image.
Ready-to-go out of the box
We understand your eagerness to put your Mediworks Firefly to work. Well, you won't have to wait long. Just install the S-390 slit lamp and get to work.
